Sardar Movie Information
Sardar is an 2022 Indian Tamil-language action spy film written and directed by P. S. Mithran, produced by S Lakshman Kumar under the banner of Prince Pictures.
The film stars Karthi in a dual role with Raashii Khanna, Rajisha Vijayan, Chunky Pandey, Laila and Murali Sharma in prominent roles. The film music composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, with cinematography doned by George C. Williams, and film edited by Ruben.
The film marks Hindi film actor Chunky Pandey’s debut in Tamil cinema, and actress Laila’s comeback to cinema after sixteen years.
Sardar Movie Plot
Inspector Vijayaprakash is a publicity-hungry officer who wants to become famous, where he takes up a mission of retrieving an important file which contains military secrets of the Indian intelligence agencies.
While investigating the case, Vijay finds a connection between the file and an ex-spy named Chandrabose aka Sardar, who is also a master-in-disguise. What is Sardar’s connection to file and Vijay (as Sardar resembles Vijay) forms the crux of the plot.
